Chocolate
Create marvelous, delicious confections by using premier baking chocolate to enhance your recipes. Chocolate comes from the Aztec word xocolati which means bitter water. The tropical tree from which cocoa and chocolate originate is calles Theobroma which translates to “food of the gods”.
WE STOCK THE FOLLOWING:
- Chocolate chips
- Small rounds
- 1/8 to ½ inch
- .6 to 1.25 cm
- Semi-sweet
- Milk
- White
- Contains less cocoa butter than other chocolates.
- Made to withstand moderate oven heat so they retain their texture and shape in cookies, muffins, and other baked desserts without appearing to melt (even though the cocoa butter has melted).
